Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information we hold about your family, why we hold it, and the limits we place on ourselves in handling it. Last updated 14 August 2026.
Who we are
Anubhandhaa is an assisted matrimonial and wedding planning service based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, operating the Anubhandhaa and Anubhandhaa Elite services. Where this policy says “we” or “us”, it means Anubhandhaa. Where it says “you”, it means the prospective bride or groom and the family members who deal with us on their behalf.
For any question about this policy, write to krishna@anubhandhaaelite.com or call +91 97412 22699.
Information we collect
We collect only what a matchmaker needs in order to make a considered introduction. This is given to us by you, in conversation, in a registration form, or over a call.
- Identity and contact details: name, age, date and place of birth, address, telephone number, email address.
- Family and community details: parents’ names and occupations, siblings, community and sub-sect, native place, family background.
- Education and profession: qualifications, employer, role, place of work, and, where a family volunteers it, an indication of income or assets.
- Personal particulars relevant to an alliance: height, complexion, diet, marital status, horoscope or birth chart, expectations of a partner.
- Photographs and documents you choose to share with us.
- Website information: the contents of enquiry forms you submit, and basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited.
We do not buy profiles from third parties, and we do not scrape profiles from other matrimonial platforms.
Why we hold it
- To understand what you are looking for and to identify families who may be suitable.
- To make introductions, and to share a profile with another family, only with your consent, as set out below.
- To verify what has been told to us, so that the other family is not misled.
- To arrange meetings, and to coordinate wedding services if you engage us for them.
- To keep our own records, and to meet obligations under Indian law.
How a profile is shared
This is the part of the policy that matters most to the families we serve, so it is stated plainly.
Anubhandhaa Elite profiles are held offline. They are not published on this website, listed in a searchable directory, or circulated in bulk. A profile moves to one family at a time, and only after you have agreed to that specific introduction.
On the assisted matrimonial service, profile details are shared with other registered members and their families for the purpose of matchmaking, in the manner explained to you at registration. Even there, contact details are exchanged only when both sides express interest.
If you ask us to close a conversation, it closes. We do not forward your details onward to test interest, and we do not keep a shortlist circulating after you have withdrawn from it.
Who else sees your information
- Our own matchmakers and relationship managers, who are bound to confidentiality.
- Astrologers, and vendors such as venues, priests, decorators or photographers, only where you have asked us to arrange those services, and only with the details needed.
- Our website host and communication providers, who process data on our instruction.
- Authorities, where disclosure is required by law or by an order of a court.
We do not sell your information, rent it, or use it for advertising by other companies.
Retention
We keep a profile for as long as your search is active with us, and for a reasonable period afterwards so that we can respond to questions about an alliance we assisted. When you ask us to remove your profile, we withdraw it from circulation immediately and delete it from our active records, retaining only what we must for accounting and legal purposes.
Security
Physical registers and documents are kept at our office under lock. Digital records are held on access-controlled systems, available only to the staff working on your search. No system is perfect, and we do not claim otherwise; where a breach affects you, we will tell you.
Your choices
- Ask to see what we hold about your family, and receive a copy.
- Correct anything that is inaccurate or out of date.
- Withdraw your profile from circulation, at any time, without giving a reason.
- Ask us to stop contacting you about new introductions.
Write to krishna@anubhandhaaelite.com and we will act on your request within thirty days.
Children
Our services are for adults of legal marriageable age under Indian law. We do not knowingly register anyone below that age, and any such registration will be removed.

This website uses a small number of cookies to keep the site working and to understand which pages are read. They do not identify you personally. You may block them in your browser without losing access to the site.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that affects how your information is used, we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell the families whose searches are active with us.
