Terms & Conditions

The terms on which we accept a family into our service, and what each side undertakes. Last updated 14 August 2026.

1. Acceptance

By registering with Anubhandhaa, engaging our Elite service, or using this website, you accept these terms on behalf of yourself and the family members who deal with us for you. If you do not accept them, please do not register.

2. What we provide

Anubhandhaa provides assisted matchmaking, personalised introductions, and related wedding planning services. Our undertaking is one of effort and judgement, not of outcome. We do not guarantee a marriage, a fixed number of introductions, or a timeline, and no member of our staff is authorised to promise one.

3. Your responsibilities

• Give us information that is true, complete and current, particularly age, marital status, education, occupation and family details.
• Tell us promptly if anything material changes, including an engagement or an alliance settled elsewhere.
• Treat details of other families as confidential. Profiles, photographs and contact details shared with you are for your family’s consideration only, and must not be forwarded, published or posted anywhere.
• Conduct your own verification before committing to an alliance, and satisfy yourself independently on horoscopes, health, finances and any legal matter.
• Deal with other families courteously. Any harassment, misrepresentation, or attempt to solicit money ends the engagement immediately.

4. Verification, and the limits of it

We take reasonable care to understand and check what families tell us, through conversation and, where possible, documents. We are not, however, an investigating agency. We cannot warrant the accuracy of information given to us by a third family, and we accept no liability arising from a misstatement made to us in good faith or otherwise. The decision to proceed with any alliance is yours alone.

5. Fees and payment

• Fees for each service and package are as quoted to you in writing at the time of registration, and are payable in advance unless we have agreed otherwise.
• Fees are for the service period and profile validity stated in your package, and are exclusive of applicable taxes.
• Wedding planning, add-on services and vendor costs are quoted separately and billed as incurred.

6. Refunds

Registration and service fees are non-refundable once the service period has begun, since our costs are incurred in the work of searching rather than in an outcome. Amounts paid to third-party vendors are subject to those vendors’ own cancellation terms.

7. Membership period and renewal

Each package carries a stated validity. At the end of that period the profile becomes inactive and is withdrawn from circulation unless renewed. Renewal is at the rates in force at the time of renewal.

8. Our discretion

We work with a limited number of families at any time. We may decline a registration, or discontinue a service, where a family provides false information, breaches confidentiality, behaves improperly toward another family or our staff, or where we conclude in good faith that we cannot serve them well.

9. Confidentiality and privacy

Our handling of your information is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Elite profiles are held offline and shared one family at a time with consent.

10. Intellectual property

The Anubhandhaa name, logo, wordmark and the text, photographs and design of this website belong to us and may not be copied, reproduced or used without written permission. Photographs of families appear only with their consent.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with our services is limited to the fee you have paid us for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for the conduct of any family introduced to you, or for the acts or omissions of independent vendors engaged for a wedding.

12. Third-party vendors

Where we introduce venues, priests, caterers, decorators, photographers or travel providers, we do so as a coordinator. Their services are governed by their own terms, and payment disputes with them are to be settled directly, though we will assist where we can.

13. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies, and material changes will be notified to families whose searches are active with us. Continued use of the service after notification is acceptance of the revision.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
